
My story
I grew up in Lithuania, a country that was occupied by the Soviet Union until its collapse shortly after I was born.
My childhood in a post-Soviet environment ingrained a mindset of scarcity and constraint.
I can still recall being a toddler, asking my dad for ice cream on a hot summer day, only to be told we couldn't afford it.
That was my first taste of life's harsh realities that I can recall.
Although my roots were modest, I've always had a burning desire to explore the world, delve into life's mysteries, and, above all, unlock the secrets of the human mind.
After spending years conforming to societal expectations, climbing the corporate ladder, and dating "acceptable" partners which I thought would satisfy my family, I ultimately chose to break away and live by my all-time favorite Ralph Waldo Emerson quote:
